This chilled tomato soup is as simple as a summer recipe can ever be. All you need is a few good tomatoes and some pantry essentials and you can have it ready within minutes. We top it sourdough croutons and fresh dill but our kids prefer it with popcorn on top!
It is the time of the year to burn your aubergine until it collapses, whizz it into a spread, top it with crunch and dunk all those gorgeous spring veg into it.
Say hello to one of our favorite meals lately. It features the three essential C's: Charred, Creamy, Crunchy. And we will be making it for dinner as a cookalong on instagram tomorrow. So let's have dinner together!
Tahini and chocolate are two of our favorite pantry ingredients and flavors. So we have put them together into one of the best candies on the planet: A tahini version of peanut butter cups. Guess what, they are super easy too!
Cook along with us! Tomorrow we are making our version of Fish and Chips. And you should too! We make our "fish" bites with grated cauliflower, zucchini, cheese and capers as the base and serve it with roasted potato chips and a little tartar sauce. See you in the kitchen!
What is a salad if not all your favorite things piled on top of each other. This salad has the most delicious roasted aubergine on top, paired with hot chickpeas, scorched feta cheese, sweet grapes and a fluffy millet mix for sustenance. Make it already!
Bye bye Banana Bread. 2020 is the year of the Pumpkin Bread. It is lightly sweet with a soft and impossibly light crumb and hints of warm spices. Top it with cream cheese and a matcha sprinkle if you are feeling fancy.
Take a break from all big holiday projects and make yourself a merry little vegan coffee shake with tones of cinnamon and nutmeg, creaminess from cashews and sweetness from dates.
Our interpretation of more traditional Nordic Christmas recipes include Vegetarian Meatballs, a creamy vegan potato dish and Saffron & Ginger Ribs, where we are replacing the meat with a new oat based product.
This green burger is a very popular recipe from our Little Green Kitchen book. It has a fun dinosaur skin texture and sweet flavor from green peas and cheese. We have also opened up mini shop where we are selling our tattoos!
Thin yogurt brushed dough sheets are like magical blankets that can get kids and adults to eat practically anything they are wrapped around. These hand-pies are called Börek and originate from Turkey, but we first tried them at our favorite cornershop and are addicted to them ever since.
If you love nut butter you have to try this! Our pumpkin seed butter tastes great, is super creamy and perfectly runny. It's more affordable than nut butter and allergy friendly too. Use it on sandwiches, yoghurt, porridge bowls, in energy bars, desserts and for dunking apple slices in.
We love Barcelona and if you are following us on social media you might have noticed that we return there in the summers. Our family has an apartment in the Raval area and Barcelona has therefore become almost a second home to us. It has that rare combination of big city vibe, great weather and long beaches. We have shared a few recommendations on instagram but we wanted to put together a more proper guide of the places we like to visit for good food and family friendly places. We are leaving out the Gaudí attractions, the Picasso museum and all other regular tourist attractions and focus on good vegetable centered places to eat, great coffee and delicious ice cream. There are thousands of restaurants and places in Barcelona and this is by no means a complete guide. But it’s the places that we often return to or have been recommended by people that know our preferences. If you think we have missed something good, please leave a comment and we might include it when we update the guide...
We created these crisp bread topping recipes for a celebration last week and thought you might enjoy them too. A Swedish summer spread, a herby green pea hummus with a sting and the classic bell pepper and sunflower seed spread from our first book.
