Somewhere around mid-June, I start side-eyeing my oven like it owes me something. It’s hot. The days are long. And there are approximately one hundred things I’d rather do than stand in front of a 350 degree situation waiting for a cake to set.

This is where no-bake desserts come in, and friends, they are not a consolation prize. A great no-bake summer dessert is one of the most satisfying things you can put on a table.
