This post was created in partnership with  Roxbury Mountain Maple . All opinions are our own.  We’ve got a giveaway! See entry rules below. Have you ever wished that you could visit your past self? What would you tell that person as “Future Me”? Recently I stumbled across a blog post I wrote almost 2 years ago. It was for a recipe with maple syrup, but the words were about what was on my mind at that moment. Help us do it: make one at home and tag us on Instagram ! Ingredients in a White Port and Tonic (Porto Tónico) The White Port and Tonic is a popular drink in Portugal, a spin on the classic Gin and Tonic using white port wine. It may have been dinner some nights? My mom has never liked cooking and we lived to tell the tale so no sense in fretting too much about that. My mom would also get a scoop every now and then, likely something better and chocolatey because she was older and wiser. I have a snapshot memory of the three of us sitting outside the automatic doors, against the taupe-y stucco walls, eating our treats, me complaining I didn't like my flavor and preferred ...
